…The option I chose was for Chuck and his team to dig out the entire side wall and install a new waterproof membrane. The existing waterproofing was non-existent due to poor builder quality and likely rushing the build.
Chuck and his team had their work cut out for them. There was maybe 10 feet between the houses, and they had to excavate to the basement slab, remove all the existing soil, then bring material to reinstate. There was very minimal room for all machinery, and the work was very technical and relentless….
