From Pumpkins to Corn Mazes This Fall
Jason’s Pumpkin Patch in Oak Harbor is packed with some fun activities people from various walks of life can enjoy. Situated at 12629 W. Salem-Carroll Road, the Laubacher family business has become a popular place this fall.
It has been busy in the past couple of weekends, but the pumpkin patch is expected to be at its busiest with the celebration of the Oak Harbor Apple Festival from October 8 to 9.
On your visit, you may want to experience the fun of conquering its large corn maze. “We have a large corn maze. It takes 30 minutes to an hour,” said Laubacher.
While some people end up “getting lost” despite having a photo guide posted on the patch’s official Facebook account, they eventually find their way out in the end.
For children 10 and below, the barn has a Kids Zone, where fun things like a straw maze and a zoo with animals like pigs, chickens, and rabbits await. Hay and pony cart rides are also offered on weekends.
Also on weekends at the barn’s Witches Brew, food is available. Served this year are new freshly made doughnuts to crave.
Jason’s Pumpkin Patch is open daily, from 10 AM to 7 PM, until Halloween. You may call 419-898-3215 or visit https://facebook.com/jasonspumpkinpatch/ for prices and more information on the various activities.
