A Heartfelt Celebration of Heroes Awaits at Ottawa’s National Remembrance Day Ceremony This November 2024
Ottawa’s National War Memorial is ready to shine again this November 11, 2024, with the Royal Canadian Legion hosting a powerful Remembrance Day Ceremony.
Kicking off at 10:45 AM, the event draws heavy hitters like the Prime Minister, Governor General, and the Silver Cross Mother—all gathering to pay tribute to Canada’s military heroes.
Expect all the traditional elements, like the anthem, two minutes of silence, and wreath-laying. And if the skies play nice, you’ll even get a fly-past.

As the day unfolds, folks will add poppies to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, creating a heartfelt sea of red.
Join in for free! Or, purchase a wreath to honor veterans, with proceeds supporting the Legion’s Poppy Fund for Canada’s veterans and their families.
