Watch Special Film Screenings at the 2025 Ottawa International Animation Festival
Mark your calendars for the 2025 Ottawa International Animation Festival. From September 24 to 28, you can attend film screenings, art workshops, cosplays, and parties all over the city.
We’re excited to watch this year’s special screenings, especially from Kinetic Curiosities by Gina Kamentsky. Known for her wild animations and funny storylines, she is one of our festival favorites.
Another film we’re excited about is Raw Outrage by Phil Mulloy, a dark, satirical take on social and religious hypocrisy. But if you’re looking for something more lighthearted, you should stick around for New Way, New World.
Also called NewNew, this new program was created to empower Japanese animators everywhere. You’ll hear from past OIAF Grand Prix laureates and watch films by Hirano Ryo, Kaneko Isaku, and Sekiguchi Izuki.
