Taste the Heat at the 4 Best Cajun Restaurants in Ottawa

My friends and I have a little wheel that we spin to decide what to eat. Last week, it was finally my turn. So I closed my eyes, spun it hard, and, to everyone’s surprise, it landed on Cajun.

We looked at each other with a sense of curiosity since we hadn’t tried this kind of food. And because I was the one who spun, I was in charge of finding the best Cajun restaurants in Ottawa.

We recommend you order The Sailor’s Feast. You get to pick from shrimp, mussels, clams, and chicken. This also comes with The Captain’s Fried Rice and Cajun Fries—talk about filling up your appetite!

You should also try their Cajun Shrimp—it’s one of the juiciest and tastiest I’ve had. Pair that with their fried rice and Lemon Pepper sauce, and you’ve got a combo that’ll leave you stuffed.

Aside from those dishes, they also have other add-ons like corn, potatoes, and sausages. You can mix these to your heart’s desire, giving you a unique experience every time.

Pro tip:

For added flavor, order some of their sausages to go with their Cajun Shrimp. It’s a combo that won’t disappoint!

Once you’re finished with that, their Jambalaya will surely knock your socks off. Their take on this famous Louisiana Cajun dish is made special by their seasoned rice. The blend of chicken, shrimp, and their rice, gives off a rich and bold flavor unlike any other.

Start your meal off with some of their Alligator Bites. This Buttermilk-marinated meat comes with jalapeno pickles and lemons, giving it a hot and zesty kick!

For the main event, their Cajun Chicken Club will surely have you coming back for seconds. This mix of blackened chicken, creole aioli, and fries, is so good that I had to place another order to-go!
