Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour Returns for Its 50th Anniversary

On July 29-30, 2023, the Rideau Lakes Cycle Tour challenges everyone to cycle through Kingston and back for its 50th edition this year. 

It’s the Ottawa Bicycle Club’s flagship event that draws up approximately 1,500 riders yearly and is one of Canada’s largest and most memorable cycling events. 

Participants can choose from four distinct routes ranging from 106km to 220km in length. Each route offers breathtaking views of the Rideau Valley’s picturesque lakes and charming historic towns. 

Whether you’re an experienced cyclist or a passionate enthusiast, this tour promises an unforgettable cycling experience through the scenic countryside. For us, it’s another chance to feel the wind in our hair and adrenaline in our veins and work up a sweat!
