Fun-Filled Family Events to Expect at the National Arts Centre This Fall 2024
On September 14, 2024, from around 10 AM to 3 PM, the National Arts Centre is hosting exciting family-friendly activities designed to captivate curious minds with workshops, immersive experiences, music, and a lot more.

Dance Workshop

Siôned Watkins and Liz Winkelaar will lead a water-themed dance workshop in the Canal Lobby from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
This inclusive event welcomes participants of all ages, abilities, and body types, offering a fun and accessible way to explore dance inspired by water.
Indigenous-Inspired Coloring Activity

Presented by NAC’s Indigenous Theatre Department, this is an all-day event that invites everyone into a fun-filled creativity session where you can explore and color Indigenous-themed artwork.
Not only will you get to express your creativity, but you’ll also gain insight into Indigenous cultures and their artistic traditions.
Go Fishing Event

Another all-day event, you can participate in an exciting Go Fishing game at the National Arts Centre and discover the incredible biodiversity of our watershed.
Plus, there’s also an available water-tasting station where you can test out different types of water – river, tap, bottled, or well. It’s a great way to learn about our water resources and think about how we can all pitch in to protect them.
