Top 11 Pubs in Ottawa That Will Make You Want to Stay Out Late

It’s Friday night, and instead of opting for my usual after-work routine – aka passing out on the couch as soon as I got home – I decided to put a different spin on things.

It was one of those nights when my workmates and I were seeking a remedy for our collective exhaustion from a grueling workweek, and we stumbled upon this dimly lit spot that felt like an underground hideout.

Who would have thought that something like this was hiding under my nose in the middle of the city?

Anyway, it was a great night full of drinks flowing, jokes flying, dancing like no one was watching, and yeah, did I mention the drinks?

Hoping our readers have the chance to experience this kind of fun, I explored the local scene and rounded up the top pubs that will have you laughing, singing off-key, and, who knows, maybe even texting your ex by midnight. Okay, maybe let’s not hope for the last part!
