The Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa is like a big playground for plant nerds like me. It’s not just any farm—it’s a research and discovery wonderland!

However, this isn’t to say that kids won’t love it here. In fact, a visit would certainly foster a desire to learn about the natural world.

From funky greenhouses to sprawling gardens, there’s always something cool to discover.

Oh, and let’s not forget the Arboretum. It’s like stepping into a 26-hectare tree museum, but way cooler. Here, you’ll be able to spot a variety of tree species and shrubs, so make sure to have that camera ready.

Plus, they’ve got a tropical greenhouse that has been around since 19289. You can expect to spot a variety of tropical plants, making it a real botanical paradise.
