Naturally, I had to try it for myself. And let me tell you, these aren’t your average food trucks; they’re mobile kitchens of culinary genius!

I mean, I already struggle to make something good in my fairly-sized kitchen, but these food trucks with their tiny kitchens really mean business. Here, I’ve discovered the city’s best poutines alongside monster-like bites that redefine street food.

Of course, I’m not writing this down just to gatekeep and make you jealous! No – I’ve collected the best ones I’ve tried so you can start your own culinary adventure!

It features exciting ingredients with the main attraction being the three balls drizzled with tahini sauce. You just know that this concoction is a flavor explosion waiting to happen!

Having tried several other of their offerings, I second people’s obsession with the falafel sandwich. Though if you want something more indulgent, I recommend the falafull fries (yes, that’s how it’s really spelled!).

If I were to describe their poutines in one word, it would be ‘phenomenal’.

While delicious poutines are not hard to come by in Ottawa, I mean we’re in Canada after all, some restaurants just don’t hit the spot.

Lou Fast Food’s, however, has the perfect balance of crispy fries, savory gravy, and flavorful cheese curd! Not only that, their offerings are quite affordable too.

This foodie haven is located on Sparks Street, quite close to popular attractions like Parliament Hill and the National Arts Centre
